Colorful, cheerful, together - summer party for children and families of professional travelers on the Geisberg

The impressive fleet of Lernamobiles and Kitamobiles for the children of parents traveling for work is lined up like a string of pearls on the Geisberg. The occasion is the traditional summer party at the start of the new school year, which has been celebrated together for the past two years.

This year, a particularly large number of families who work nearby at the Dippemess' in Frankfurt were able to take part. Over 100 guests, including circus companies and showmen, celebrated a cheerful, colorful party where the students, first graders and daycare children were the center of attention! "Together we have grown up," said the two hosts of the afternoon, as the school has been around for 20 years and the daycare center for 5 years. A double anniversary in EVIM's anniversary year! What a celebration! Heads of department from the Ministry of Education and Cultural Affairs and companions from both institutions such as Gerhard Kopplow and Birgid Oertel, colleagues from the school for circus children from NRW and representatives from the Lions Club Wiesbaden, which effectively supports the institutions, were also welcomed. The open-air festival was opened with a lively church service by show pastor Torsten Heinrich and EVIM board member Pastor Matthias Loyal. The two teachers from the "Geisberg Band" adapted country-style hymns were very well received and encouraged people to sing along. Torsten Heinrich's devotion was also humorous: saints shine not only in the glow of the church windows, but as fellow human beings in real life. He wished everyone this experience on their way through the new school and daycare year. The new school starters received glowing guardian angels, as well as school cones, many of which had to stay with the teachers for the time being, as the families were away on business in Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Baden-Württemberg at the time. The new arrivals in the various classes were also called by name, as were the school leavers, most of whom are staying with their parents or transferring to a grammar school. There was also plenty of variety at the games and craft stations, face painting and, of course, the alternative youth games, which are only available at EVIM! Barbecue and cake stations, coffee and drinks spread a true summer festival atmosphere.

"You are not alone," said Matthias Loyal to the children and young people and their families, "We are delighted that you are visiting the daycare center and the school!". This joy could be felt throughout this very special summer party for school and daycare children at EVIM on the Geisberg!
