20 Years of Blumenverlag – Anniversary Event with Author Jo Kessler
Wiesbaden-based author Jo Kessler will celebrate a very special anniversary in May 2026: 20 years of Blumenverlag. To mark the occasion, he is hosting a public event at the Orangerie in Aukamm. Jo Kessler is an employee at EVIM and works in the PixelWerkPlus division at the Wiesbaden Rehabilitation Workshop. After a serious accident, he fought his way back to life with impressive strength. Today, he is a dedicated author who weaves his experiences, thoughts, and stories into his books.
His literary career began in 2006 with the book *A Fairy Tale Book for Adults*, which also marked the launch of his own publishing house, Blumenverlag. The book’s debut was celebrated with a festive event at Freudenberg Castle, featuring a reading, music, and a wine reception. Several more books have been published since then.
In recent years, Jo Kessler has held numerous readings in Wiesbaden and the surrounding area, including at the Kunstarche Wiesbaden—sometimes before large audiences together with illustrator Bernd Bach.
