Support and accompany
At the heart of our work: children, young people, and families. On this basis, EVIM Youth Welfare develops differentiated, specific, and flexible individual support and creates safe places. Proximity to the social environment, to the family and social reference system, is maintained. With our outpatient, day care, and inpatient services, we ensure that children, young people, and parents receive the support they need on an individual basis.

upstairs
upstairs is Wiesbaden's contact point for young people in need. In addition to food, sleeping accommodations, and washing facilities, upstairs also offers you the opportunity to reflect on your own situation together with the EVIM staff working there and to develop a new perspective for yourself.
Animal-assisted education
Interacting with animals gives you a sense of well-being and helps you find your inner balance. That is why EVIM uses animal-assisted education with llamas, dogs, and other domestic and farm animals in some of its residential groups.
By completing tasks together with the animals, you learn to become courageous and assert yourself appropriately. Interacting with them creates strong relationships, promotes your self-confidence, and your sense of responsibility.
flagship project
Participation weekend
As part of its protection concept, EVIM Youth Welfare attaches great importance to the participation of the children and young people in its care. As a flagship project, the Participation Working Group organizes a participation weekend every two years. The next event will take place on June 6–7, 2026, and will be held under the motto "Media literacy—is it all fake news or what?!"
