Your path to us—and to working life

In our workshops and at numerous external workplaces in companies in the region, we offer over 1,000 people with assistance needs qualified employment, vocational training, and integration into our teams, as well as comprehensive further education and training. Our specialists promote your skills as well as your personality. They arrange internships and prepare you for job opportunities in companies on the general labor market.

Initial consultation – This is
where you start With you, we discuss whether our workshops for integration into working life may be suitable for you. Once a rehabilitation provider has approved the costs, we offer you a three-month introductory program.

Vocational training and rehabilitation in the production sector
We work with you to develop a qualification plan tailored to your needs, find the right area of responsibility for you, and determine which further training measures would be helpful.

Promoting and developing personality
We promote professional skills as well as social and personal development. Continuing education is very important to us. Our employees are there to support you with advice and assistance.

Service for placement and support in companies
An important goal is to enable professional integration and employment outside the workshops. We cooperate with companies and offer you training and work trials.

Products and Services

Social Security Code IX (SGB IX), Section 71: "Private and public employers with at least 20 jobs ... must employ severely disabled people in at least five percent of their jobs..."

According to SGB IX § 77, you must pay a compensatory levy if you employ no or too few severely disabled persons. From 2016, this will amount to:

  • 125 euros for an employment rate of 3% to less than 5%
  • 220 euros for an employment rate of 2% to less than 3%
  • 320 euros for an employment rate of less than 2%

All of our workshops are recognized institutions within the meaning of § 142 SGB IX. Therefore, you may offset 50 percent of our work performance against the compensatory levy.

Example

You employ 100 people in your company, two of whom are severely disabled. The employment rate is 2 percent. You must pay a monthly compensation levy of €600 (3 x €200) for the three vacant mandatory positions.

That amounts to €7,200 per year.

You award a contract to EVIM Werkstätten, a recognized workshop for people with disabilities. Our invoice includes eligible wage costs of €14,400. You can offset 50 percent of this amount, i.e., €7,200, against the compensatory levy.

This means that you do not have to pay any compensation levy for one year.
