Winter festival at the Kapellenstraße residential building
At the end of the year, residents, employees, relatives, neighbors, friends, and former residents gathered for a festive winter celebration in the festively decorated courtyard of the Kapellenstraße residential building. The winter atmosphere created a lively, cozy place for people to meet, chat, and enjoy each other's company.
In the weeks leading up to the event, residents had been busy sewing and crafting together. Handmade key rings and Christmas decorations found new owners at the lovingly designed sales stand. After a welcome by the team leaders and the facility advisory board, the covered courtyard invited visitors to linger, chat, and play. Homemade pumpkin soup, sausages, pretzels, and cookies, as well as warming punch and coffee, provided refreshments, while wool blankets added to the cozy atmosphere.
A special highlight was the joint action painting: using spatulas and paint, the visitors created a collaborative work of art in the form of a Christmas tree. The resulting picture in the Kapellenstraße living room served as a reminder of this special afternoon and the successful celebration.
Accompanied by soft music, the winter festival became a warm, open gathering – and a moment that lingered long after and warmed the hearts of all who attended. (ms)
