Kita im Seniorenzentrum Schwalbach am Taunus
Bringing young and old together under one roof is the idea behind our daycare center, which is located on the ground floor of the EVIM senior center in Schwalbach am Taunus.
Being next door to senior citizens makes this daycare center something special. Weekly meetings between the generations make the interaction exciting and varied. These encounters between young and old promote social interaction, strengthen mutual understanding, and allow everyone to experience joy together.
Our facility was featured on ZDF. Watch here from minute 15:10.
Important for parents
In our small daycare center, the children are the most important people. The rooms, which are set up as play areas, resemble a children's apartment. Here, the children can move around freely and pursue their interests. At certain times, the children gather in their regular groups. Freedom and structure offer security and, at the same time, plenty of time for playing and learning.
Special features
- 2 elementary groups for children aged 3 to school age
- Semi-open concept in cozy rooms
- Full-day places
- 22-25 children per group

Concept & Services
Children have rights
Respectful coexistence and mutual acceptance are the cornerstones of our community. We are committed to upholding children's rights.
Growing up healthy
We promote the mental and physical health of children by going outside every day and playing outdoors a lot. We offer healthy meals with raw vegetables and fruit every day. We provide plenty of space for movement and foster a culture of togetherness and mutual understanding. The hand puppet Jolinchen accompanies us throughout the year. With her, the children experience health-promoting projects for physical and mental well-being. Read more about this here
We love books
We have daily reading sessions, various book corners, regular trips to the city library, reading time with senior citizens, and our own book lending service.
