Kita am Schlockerhof
The Schlockerhof daycare center offers up to 115 children between the ages of 3 and 6 a place to live, learn, and grow. In a total of 5 group rooms on two floors, the children have the opportunity to explore and discover the world. The inclusive educational approach, based on the Hessian Education and Training Plan, aims to give each child the best possible individual support.
“Im Kindergarten vermisse ich zu Hause und zu Hause vermisse ich den Kindergarten”
Important for parents
We see parents as experts when it comes to their children and maintain a close educational partnership with them. Firmly rooted in the local community, we cooperate with local elementary schools and other institutions in the city, such as the Schlockerhof and the senior citizens' center. We are currently still located in a container building. Our new building is being constructed across the street.

Concept & Services
Our educational work is based on the situational approach and thus on the needs and living environment of the children. We perceive each child as an individual within the group and incorporate their learning and experiences into our everyday educational activities, taking into account their individual stage of development.
Our daycare center is well connected within the neighborhood, and regular visits to places such as the library or the senior center are part of the daily schedule.
Respectful and mindful interaction is very important to us at our daycare center, and we practice this with the children every day. To this end, we have firmly integrated the "Faustlos" program from the Heidelberg Prevention Center into our daily routine to promote social skills and prevent aggressive behavior.
