Quartier Eigenheim / Komponistenviertel
Care facilities are reaching their limits in the face of demographic change. Since the summer of 2016, EVIM Altenhilfe has been pursuing a forward-looking approach in cooperation with Thomas Rehbein's home nursing and senior care service: offering social and nursing care in close consultation within walking distance in the neighborhood where people can grow old in their own homes.
Living independently in your own home
The Rehbein outpatient nursing service and EVIM Altenhilfe offer "neighborhood care" in the Eigenheim and Komponistenviertel neighborhoods. A multi-professional team guarantees the fastest possible care, provides customers with individualized care according to their needs, and ensures this even in cases of high care requirements – without a flat-rate care fee.
Social neighborhood: For people to feel comfortable in their homes, they also need a lively neighborhood and social activities. All this is offered by the neighborhood meeting place, the "Son(n)derBar" bistro on Eintrachtstraße.
Connected to this is the neighborhood office, where social and nursing neighborhood managers can be found. Getting information, chatting, enjoying themselves, and networking, whether at regulars' tables or digitally—everyone benefits.
Numerous publications, guest lectures, and visits from state and federal politicians show that the neighborhood can be a relevant addition to inpatient care. The growing support from universities also demonstrates the increasing social interest.
