upstairs
Mobile contact point for young people in need
Hotline 0800 101 30 30
The project offers help to young people in need. It is a donation-funded contact point in the Reisinger Anlagen in Wiesbaden and provides initial care, advice, clothing, food, travel tickets, and accommodation depending on availability.
We build relationships with those seeking help and accompany them as they integrate into the support system provided by the authorities and the healthcare system.

This is important to us
The unbureaucratic help and support offered by upstairs, regardless of responsibilities, is unique. Anyone can come during opening hours and is welcome. Above all, there are people here who listen. Who don't judge. "We are responsible until someone else takes over" is the motto. Young people who are in need, who have been kicked out of their homes, who don't know what tomorrow will bring, still have their whole lives ahead of them. They are always full of hope and trust that "everything will be alright."
In Germany, there are an estimated 32,000 street kids, and most people think that things will get better within a year. If this doesn't happen, it becomes increasingly difficult to escape the spiral of homelessness, unemployment, and violence. Help at the right moment can change a whole life.
For young people, the first step is to regain trust in adults, and then we can help.
