Notschlafstelle Bad Vilbel
The Bad Vilbel emergency shelter is a service that provides temporary accommodation for young people aged 14 and over who have not been able to accept youth welfare measures because the services on offer were not suitable or because the youth welfare system was unable to cope with their needs. We guarantee quick and uncomplicated overnight accommodation and emergency care and offer protection and age-appropriate support during the care period (5 p.m. to 9 a.m.).

This is important to us
Access to the emergency shelter is low-threshold. We are available by phone 24/7, 365 days a year. After registration by the responsible youth welfare office, young people receive emergency care quickly and without bureaucracy from 5 p.m. onwards.
The young people leave the emergency shelter at 8:30 a.m. and can return to the premises from 5 p.m. onwards. If the young people themselves express a greater need, this can be met by the educators on site after consultation with the responsible youth welfare office.
We work closely with the institutions involved. Our actions are always characterized by appreciation, recognition, and helping people to help themselves. Integration into the youth welfare department, regular staff and individual case discussions with educational management and departmental management, as well as further training and supervision serve to ensure the quality of our work.
The care offered by the emergency shelter is limited in time. Within 12 weeks, a perspective should be expressed and discussed with the responsible youth welfare office. In consultation, the educators can help the young person to address this need and work on the respective goals.
