This is important to us

The aim of the measure is to support young people in developing a (new) perspective in cooperation with all stakeholders involved.

We are open 365 days a year and can be reached by phone around the clock. After registration by the youth welfare office, young people receive emergency care quickly and without bureaucracy. Those who come to us on their own initiative can only be admitted in consultation with the youth welfare office as part of a temporary custody arrangement.

The emergency shelter is voluntary for young people; they decide for themselves if and when they want to accept it. We only expect them to let us know if they do not want to come to us one evening. In the event of an unannounced absence, the youth welfare office and legal guardians will be informed the following morning, depending on the agreement.

The emergency shelter has a clear daily structure with a few key points within which the young people can move freely. Our house rules are also kept to a minimum, but we enforce them consistently. This enables the young people to gradually learn to fit into a given framework again.

The maximum length of stay at the emergency shelter is 12 weeks.
