Our fully residential social-educational animal-assisted living group in Hömberg is nestled in a very rural setting. It has space for seven children aged four and above who are in difficult life situations and require intensive educational support.

This is important to us

The Hömberg residential group is located in a house in a rural setting, in a small village near Nassau in the Rhein-Lahn district. Seven children and young people aged between four and twelve can be accommodated here. Each child has their own individually furnished single room. The integration of animal-assisted activities into everyday life enables the children to interact with adults through the animals, if necessary.

Our goal is to provide children and young people with long-term accommodation in a family environment, supporting them on their journey to independence. We strengthen parental skills and resources. Our actions are always characterized by appreciation, recognition, and helping people to help themselves.
