This is important to us
The Niedernhausen residential group, which currently has eight inpatient places for children aged eight and above, is aimed at children and young people who cannot live at home, either permanently or temporarily. The reasons for this can vary greatly, from experiences of violence to neglect or excessive demands in their family environments. We integrate the children and young people into a stable community that provides them with security, a sense of belonging, and clear boundaries.
The family-like structure helps children and young people to form new relationships, develop a sense of security, and face everyday challenges.
A team of competent professionals works in shifts, 365 days a year, to care for the young people and provide an environment where they can feel safe and comfortable.
