First Volunteer Day 2026 at Poly-clip System: Encounters That Bring People Together and Inspire
Hattersheim, September 22, 2026. Eight employees from Poly-clip System spent a varied Volunteer Day together with clients from the Schlockerhof day program, focusing on inclusion and social participation.
To kick things off, the employees gained insights into the work at Schlockerhof and a 3D printing project there. Since the same 3D printer is used there as at Poly-clip System, this led to a direct professional exchange.
The guests then toured the Poly-clip System production facility, where they were introduced to the industrial applications of 3D printing. Together, the participants assembled a lamp that had been specially manufactured for the event. They also had the opportunity to fill nets with fruit and seal them using a clipping machine. A barbecue brought the day to a close.
“The close proximity of our two organizations makes it possible to bring people together and learn from one another. It was a wonderful exchange and a valuable experience,” said Marius Lelle, Workshop Manager for Education at EVIM Workshops Region East.
Alexandra Akman, Corporate Social Responsibility Manager at Poly-clip System, also gave a positive assessment: “Volunteer Day showed just how valuable encounters between people from different backgrounds are. Openness, a zest for life, and mutual respect defined this day.”
With Volunteer Day, Poly-clip System is continuing its social commitment in the region and strengthening its collaboration with Schlockerhof and EVIM. The event is set to continue in the future.
