Disabled people, elderly people in need of care, and their relatives can find advice and assistance here. The counseling is free of charge and independent of any particular provider, and can also be provided at home upon request.

The EVIM advice and coordination centers (BeKo) offer comprehensive and free support for elderly people, those in need of care, people with disabilities, and their relatives. Our qualified advisors provide you with individual and confidential assistance—at your home if you wish.

 We provide support in organizing care services, applications, and other assistance so that you receive the best possible care.

Costs & Admission

The care support center is jointly financed by the Ministry of Social Affairs of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate, the districts, the health and nursing care insurance funds, as well as the districts and independent cities, in cooperation with the operators of the counseling and coordination centers.

EVIM's advisory and coordination centers are located in the Westerwald district for the municipalities of Bad Marienberg, Hachenburg, Höhr-Grenzhausen, Selters, Ransbach-Baumbach, Rennerod, Wallmerod, Westerburg, and Wirges. The BeKos are based at EVIM Ambulant Westerwald.

We advise you on topics such as organizing care at home, outpatient assistance such as meals on wheels, home emergency call systems, or transportation services, adapting your home to the needs of seniors or those requiring care, assistance for dementia patients, and selecting a suitable inpatient care facility.
