The Kortheuer House in Usingen offers senior-friendly living in a friendly, family atmosphere. All 113 rooms are single rooms and can be individually designed. The central location provides good transport links and shops within walking distance.

Single rooms with a personal touch
The house has only single rooms of various sizes. All living areas have their own color scheme, making it easier to find your way around. A photographer took pictures of Usingen and the surrounding area especially for this purpose, and these attractive eye-catchers adorn the bright hallways.
Green oasis with a view
Old trees and bustling streets can be seen from the large windows. You are "in the middle of life." A beautiful adjacent garden and the inner courtyard allow you to spend time outdoors.
Your personal living environment
The house has only single rooms. We welcome individual room designs and are happy to actively support you in this (e.g., your own furniture, pictures, bedspreads, flowers, mementos).
Leisure activities to suit your taste
The Kortheuer House offers a wide range of leisure activities to suit every taste. Film lovers are also well catered for: films are often shown on a large screen in the event room on the ground floor. Our club room is a meeting place where you can play board games such as chess. Coffee afternoons with delicious cakes, bowling, crafts, and seasonal celebrations round off our program. This creates many opportunities to socialize.

Participation & Feedback

Facility Advisory Board

The Facility Advisory Board consists of elected residents and/or relatives. Its main task is to represent the interests of the residents and improve the quality of the facility. It has a say in decisions that need to be made in the facility, whether it be in the design or planning of leisure activities. It promotes communication between the facility management and the residents.
