Kinderwohngruppe Alsheim
Our facility in Alsheim is a (sibling) residential group with intensive/integrative parental involvement. We accept children or adolescents whose parents are no longer able to fulfill their parental responsibilities for a variety of reasons, but for whom a return home appears realistic in the future.
Parents have the option of staying overnight in their own room in the residential group. This helps to foster a lasting parent-child bond.

This is important to us
We pursue these goals through our work:
- The young person is protected.
- Young people are provided with housing.
- Young people are integrated into their kindergarten (or school/training).
- Young people are integrated into their peer group.
- Young people have emotional bonds with others.
- The young person has social skills.
- The young person knows their family background and can interpret it.
The aim of the assistance is to provide professional support and systematic work on developing a positive bond between children or young people and their parents that is tailored to the children's needs.
Parents should be strengthened in their parenting skills so that, even in the event of a potentially long-term physical separation, their influence in their children's lives remains intact.
If the parents are still unable to raise their children safely in their own environment in the future, the residential group offers the option of keeping the children there until they become independent.
