Tagesgruppe Plus Wehrheim
The Tagesgruppe Plus in Wehrheim is aimed at individual children who are at risk of exclusion due to their behavior in their family, school, and social environments and are therefore under particular stress. We develop individual, flexible responses to their family emergencies and problem situations. In doing so, we involve the entire family or groups of children or young people. We also relieve the parents of some of the burden of raising their children and provide them with support.

This is important to us
The Tagesgruppe Plus is located in the premises of the former Heinrich-Kielhorn-Schule in Wehrheim.
It is a temporary, semi-residential program with the aim of working with families to resolve educational difficulties and behavioral problems in children, compensate for developmental and educational deficits, strengthen existing resources, and develop new perspectives. Through individual support before, during, and after school, intensive work with parents, including home visits and small group activities in the afternoon, the children receive individual support so that they can continue to live in their familiar family environment.
The day group is open between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m.
Six employees and a housekeeper, who cooks a fresh lunch every day, are part of the team and provide a supportive environment. There is close cooperation with the Schule am Geisberg, a state-approved special school for educational assistance and for sick children, as well as the EVIM Bildung special education counseling and support center, which operates a branch office at the same location.
