The Parent-Child Project Spain is an intensive support program offered as part of educational assistance. We support families with children whose individual development is at risk and whose educational situation in Germany is severely strained. We open up new perspectives that are necessary for the child's beneficial development through intensive educational support and a change of location.

This is important to us

A new environment for a fresh start and development:

The physical distance from their familiar surroundings enables families to break out of established patterns of behavior and make a fresh start. In the Spanish environment, we offer a protected setting in which parents and children can work together on their relationships and develop new skills. Our multidisciplinary team of experts in education, psychology, and therapy provides intensive support to families in their everyday lives.

We support families in establishing positive interaction patterns, strengthening parenting skills, and developing individual problem-solving strategies. Experiential education programs and exposure to Spanish culture complement our work. The goal is to empower families to live together in a stable environment in Germany after their return.

Intensive family support:

Qualified professionals care for and support families around the clock in their new living environment. Our work is tailored to the individual needs and resources of each family. We accompany families in their everyday lives, during conflicts, and in crisis situations. Regular individual, couple, and family therapy sessions are an integral part of the program.

Educational and vocational support:

Children and young people can attend a regular Spanish school or be taught at our project school, which cooperates with a German comprehensive school. We offer parents support in catching up on school qualifications or in career orientation.

Leisure activities and cultural experiences:

Joint leisure activities and learning about Spanish culture promote family cohesion and open up new perspectives.
We offer sports and experiential education activities as well as excursions to cultural attractions.
