Interkulturelle Jugendwohngruppe IJWG Neuhof
The Intercultural Youth Residential Group is located in a house in the Neuhof district of the municipality of Taunusstein.
We offer a home to eight young people who, for various reasons, can no longer live at home. We accept young people aged 16 and over who need the protected environment of a residential group.
Our main focus is on helping them become independent and supporting them in the practicalities of everyday life.

This is important to us
The IJWG Neuhof is a shift work group that provides care 365 days a year. Eight teenagers and young adults find their home here on three floors.
Each young person has a designated caregiver who is part of a team of educational professionals.
The main goal of our facility is to help young people become independent in their own apartments, as responsible, self-reliant, and self-determined citizens.
The intercultural approach of the residential group is aimed at all young people, but especially refugees, and supports them in integrating into our society and dealing with the everyday challenges of life.
The main topics in daily interactions with young people are support in school or work, developing healthy lifestyle habits, healthcare and leisure activities, and dealing with authorities.
The educational work is embedded in a systemic approach, trauma pedagogy, and nonviolent communication, and addresses the participatory skills of the young people. The young people are encouraged to strengthen their own personalities and their ability to relate to their fellow human beings.
