The Taunusstein day group is located in the Bleidenstadt district and accepts up to 12 children aged between six and 12.

We are a group educational program with the main goal of enabling the child to remain in the family. We therefore also provide support in the process of reintegrating the child into their family of origin after returning from an inpatient program.

This is important to us

The girls and boys come to the day group after school from Monday to Friday and are looked after there until 5 p.m. The children and young people are usually between the ages of six and 14.
In our daily work with the children, the main goals are to promote personal development and provide support with school-related issues. We also focus on the social environment and help with integration into the social environment and finding meaningful leisure activities.

We hold regular parent-teacher conferences and also visit families at home.

Our educational work is embedded in a systemic approach, trauma pedagogy, and nonviolent communication, and appeals to the participatory abilities of the children.
