EVIM Youth Services helps children, young people, and families.
We constantly adapt our services to ensure they are effective.
Every family and every child receives the support they need.
Help is provided where people live.

Types of support

There are three types of support for children, young people, and families:

  • Outpatient: Care within the family.
  • Partial inpatient: Daytime care.
  • Inpatient: Living in a supervised facility.

upstairs – Help for young people in need

The upstairs project has been running in Wiesbaden since 2001.
It is a drop-in center for homeless young people.
Here they receive:

  • food
  • a place to sleep
  • the opportunity to shower and do laundry
  • help to improve their situation

EVIM Connect app

The EVIM Connect app is for:

  • Children and adolescents who are cared for by EVIM
  • Parents and relatives
  • Former clients

The app offers:

  • Information about rights, complaints, and independence
  • A chat for young people and staff
  • direct messages from EVIM

Ombudsman's Office – Rights for Children and Young People

The ombudsman's office helps children and young people to understand their rights.
It works to ensure that children in institutions and foster families have a say in decisions that affect them.
There is also a support network with volunteers.
