Clear the stage for a magical summer day

A touch of circus magic, wide-eyed wonder, and many joyful encounters: On Friday, the garden at the Ludwig-Eibach-Haus in Wiesbaden was transformed into a colorful circus ring. The Frankordi Family Circus made a stop at the EVIM senior living facility and brought a special summer day directly to the residents who are no longer able to visit the circus themselves.

For five years now, facility director Tanja Salder and her team have been working closely with the Frank circus family. With great passion, the family circus sets up its mobile ring right inside senior care facilities and presents a roughly 45-minute program featuring acrobatics, juggling, magic, clowning, and animal surprises.

Of course, nothing else that makes a real circus visit special was missing: The scent of fresh popcorn and cotton candy filled the air, while a small petting zoo with alpacas, runner ducks, goats, chickens, and dogs delighted animal lovers of all ages. Many residents took the opportunity to pet and feed the animals and reminisced about past circus visits.

Not only the seniors and their family members, but also guests from the neighboring EVIM ServiceWohnen as well as individual residents of EVIM Teilhabe enjoyed the varied program. In summery weather, the magic of the circus ring came right to our doorstep for a wonderful, enchanting afternoon. A big thank you to everyone who made this joy possible! (hk)
